As the People Partner Manager, reporting to the Head of People Operations, you will collaborate closely with The Star Gold Coast’s operational functions and align them to the wider people strategy, as well as develop strong relationships with People & Culture to drive group initiatives at a property level.  
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in an exciting transformation of our property, reshaping how we operate between centralised and decentralised models. In this role, you will have one direct report and will play a pivotal role in developing leadership capabilities while ensuring regulatory and governance requirements are met. You will also collaborate closely with the broader People Operations team, including Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Management and Licensing, to drive impactful change. 
 
Please note that this role is initially a 6-month max term opportunity. 
 
A few of your responsibilities: 
• Foster collaboration between functional and property leaders to deliver a cohesive, efficient, and proactive strategic people agenda 
• Partner closely with leaders to ensure the People agenda is prioritised and tailored to the unique needs of each group or department 
• Develop financially sound recommendations across all aspects of People Operations, addressing both immediate and long-term needs 
• Oversee Employee Relations support to the business
• Coach, develop, and empower leaders, educating them on the People operating model 
What we will be looking for: 
• Proven experience in a similar People Advisory role in a fast-paced environment 
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology or Organisational Development 
• Strong relationship-building, coaching, influencing, and communication skills to enhance leadership team development. 
• A proactive business partnership approach, driven by a self-starter mindset and a positive, can-do attitude. 
• Solid knowledge of current workplace legislations, modern awards, and relevant regulations

You are a natural collaborator and communicator, able to understand and explain complex business requirements and strategy and then work alongside leaders to ensure successful outcomes. You appreciate the unique needs of each business unit and are able to leverage your experience in a fast paced highly regulated work environment.
