As our Revenue Compliance Officer, reporting to the Group Senior Revenue Auditor, you will perform daily audits and compliance activities associated with Gaming, Hotel, and Food & Beverage operations across the group as well as partnering with Group Revenue Accounting for investigating and verification of revenue related activities.
This is a fantastic opportunity to govern the auditing process of both our gaming and non-gaming revenue. Your compliance portfolio will support The Star across all properties in efficiently delivering their daily operations.
A few of your responsibilities:
Conduct revenue audits for gaming and non-gaming operations, ensuring compliance to the regulatory and contractual obligations.
Closely liaise with internal and external stakeholders to govern the auditing process.
Investigate and resolve any financial discrepancies and escalating issues to your direct report for further investigation.
Support the Finance team in business deliverables through detailed and accurate compliance governing across all key stakeholder financial activities.
What we are looking for:
Strong experience in Accounting; Gaming background is highly desirable.
High levels of attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Highly organised individual with a positive demeanour
About you:
The role would suit a current team member with Gaming / Cashier experience and / or someone who is studying or has complete a degree in accounting.
You are a diligent individual and system champion, looking to utilise your accounting experience to elevate others. You confidently provide timely feedback, and are comfortable reporting and training for identified breaches in process and variances.
