As the Senior Risk Advisor, reporting to the Director of Risk & Compliance, you will play a key role in supporting The Star Sydney's Risk & Compliance team by developing, implementing, and monitoring risk profiles, while also assisting business operations in enhancing processes and driving continuous improvement.

A few of your responsibilities
- Provide risk expertise to support the identification, assessment, and monitoring of risk, compliance, and controls
- Deliver expert risk advice and leadership to stakeholders, including analysis, project input, and ongoing support
- Assist stakeholders in managing strategic, financial, operational, and compliance risks
- Lead Risk Assessments for new product and processes
- Participate in key management committees
- Partner with the business to embed the Risk Management Framework and related policies
- Prepare reports for the Sydney Property Risk Committee, GLT, and the Board as required
- Maintain and regularly update risk registers
- Provide leadership for one Risk Advisor
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of risk management, advisory or consulting experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance or another relevant field
- Excellent understanding of risk management frameworks, concepts, and tools
- Experience in risk standards, guidelines, and practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
