As a Financial Crime Advisory Analyst, reporting to the Senior Manager Financial Crime Advisory, you will support the Financial Crime team within Group Risk by providing expert advice to the business on AML/CTF compliance and financial crime risk management.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Assist in the provision of AML/CTF advice and interpretation of financial crime policies.
- Research and engage with industry and regulatory guidance to maintain current knowledge.
- Advise on controls and procedures for compliance with Sanctions and Anti-Bribery & Corruption policies.
- Respond to business inquiries and contribute to financial crime working groups.
- Report on financial crime risk and compliance, highlighting areas of concern or emerging risks.
What we are looking for:
- 1–2 years’ experience in financial crime risk management or advisory roles, ideally within banks, financial services, ASX-listed company, regulatory agencies, or consulting firms.
- Strong analytical and research skills with a high level of critical thinking.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical software.
- Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
