The Injury Management Specialist, reporting to the Safety Manager, is responsible for coordinating and supporting the rehabilitation and sustainable return to work of team members.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for our Risk and Compliance team.

A few of your responsibilities  

• Build strong relationships with business units and Employee Relations to support effective rehabilitation and return to work outcomes
• Collaborate with third-party claims administrators to ensure smooth injury management and recovery processes
• Provide injury management strategies and regular updates on claim progress and associated costs
• Recommend cost-saving measures to support departmental and company budgets
• Coordinate medical assessments and interpret reports to support early and sustainable return to work

What we are looking for 

• 3–5 years’ experience in injury management within a large, multi-purpose organisation
• Tertiary qualification in an allied health or related discipline (desirable)
• Accredited Return to Work Coordinator, in line with state legislation
• Experience with workers’ compensation
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including NSW Workers’ Compensation Act and associated guidelines
