As our Surveillance Digital Technician, reporting to the Senior Surveillance Technician, you will manage the day-to-day responsibility for the efficient and effective operation of the Asset Protection systems and technology.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will assist in guiding the team toward achieving all departmental and company goals.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Deliver the most efficient and effective use of current and emerging surveillance and security equipment.
  • Assist with projects and ensure they are completed within agreed timeframes and costs.
  • Assist with external contractors ensuring the provision of service meets company compliance standards and departmental objectives.
  • Evaluate, develop and implement operating techniques to maximise and maintain efficiency.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures ensuring integrity of the operation and quality service standards are maintained.

What are we looking for:

  • Current NSW Security Industry Licence 2C or willingness to obtain
  • Experience in IT operating systems &/or network knowledge
  • Certification in Avigilon Software or willingness to obtain
  • Demonstrated conceptual thinking skills
  • Demonstrated reporting and administration skills

About you:

You will need to demonstrate hands-on problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to various systems. Effective communication and influencing strategies across multiple stakeholder streams will also be ideal. 

Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our Asset Protection operations at The Star Sydney.
