The Gaming Development & Training Manager role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Development and Capability, and offers an extraordinary opportunity to manage the planning, implementation and execution of all Training requirements. With focus on facilitation of games training, you will also ensure all relevant statutory, regulatory and industry standards are met, and all staff are trained to a high level of competency. This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for Gaming within The Star Sydney.
A few of your responsibilities:
- Boost the quality and effectiveness of our training team and programs
- Lead important compliance and technical skill-based programs, training initiatives and improvements
- Operationalise improvements in this space to make our program hum with effectiveness
- Partner with leaders and build trusted networks with key stakeholders
- Champion the planning and implementation of all gaming development and training requirements
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in leading end-to-end L&D activities is desirable
- Strong experience as a people leader highly regarded – Gaming preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and recent experience in engagement and influencing of key stakeholders
- Experience driving technical and process changes; with a strong knowledge of change management components and principles.
- Understanding of casino rules, regulations and reporting requirements is compulsory
