As the Surveillance Assistant Duty Manager reporting directly to the Surveillance Duty Manager, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring room operations and provide leadership, motivation, advice, and direction for trainee operators to meet departmental objectives. The successful applicant will assist in guiding the team toward achieving all departmental and company goals.

A few of your responsibilities:

• Prioritising daily workload to ensure the efficient and effective performance of surveillance Operators.
• Leading and motivating a small team in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
• Maintain a constant vigilance to identify, record and report activity affecting casino revenue, illegal or undesirable activity and gaming integrity.
• Maintain a high level of property knowledge and promote effective communications by ensuring that all co-workers maintain the same level of knowledge.
• Perform the role of Surveillance Duty Manager as necessary to cover leave and other eventualities.

What we are looking for:

• Proven ability to identify, evaluate, investigate and provide analysis to senior management
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a team to ensure a high standard of work output and service
• Demonstrated commitment to providing a high level of service to internal and external stakeholders
• Current NSW Security Industry Registry Licence (1A)
• Successful completion of the approved Trainee Surveillance Operators Course
