Compass Group is recruiting Casual Chefs to work across several sites in Canberra. With a variety of shifts on offer working in our casual pool, we have flexible shift options available to suit.
THE POSITION:
- Food preparation, cooking, and presentation of all food offerings
- Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating as well as allergens and dietary requirements
- Able to work across all stations/ areas of the kitchen
- Adhering to all relevant health and safety and food safety standards, ensuring wastage is kept to a minimum
THE PERSON:
- Minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery
- Background in fine dining/events and functions and an eye for detail
- Great energy and professional presentation
- The willingness to work across various sectors and locations (i.e. Education, Venues, Corporate, etc.)
