We are looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join the CGA team on a full time basis

 

THE POSITION

  • Financial Planning and Forecasting: Develop and manage financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making. Monitor performance against financial targets and analyse variances.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities. Reporting on key financial and non-financial metrics to Group will also be required. 
  • Strategic Support: Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and recommendations that drive business strategy and operational efficiency.
  • Budget Management: Assist with the budgeting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals. Review and validate budget assumptions and outputs.
  • Financial Accounts: Prepare and maintain accurate financial monthly accounts for overhead departments including recommending cost control measures to deliver efficiencies
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Compliance and Control: Ensure financial practices comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Implement and monitor controls to maintain data integrity and accuracy.

 

THE PERSON

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance analyst role
  • Bachelor’s degree (required) plus professional qualification/postgraduate studies in Finance (e.g., CA, CPA, CFA, CIMA)
  • Advanced excel, reporting and analysis skills essential
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and business partnering skills
  • Exceptional written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical Abilities: Excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with financial software and ERP systems
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint
  • Tableau or Powerbi experience preferable
