The Role
Join Compass Group Australia’s E15 – Advanced Data & Analytics team as a BI Developer – Graduate, where you’ll turn data into actionable insights. In this role, you’ll build data models, develop visualisation tools like Tableau, and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to deliver scalable data solutions. As a BI Developer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights. Working within the E15 team, you’ll:
- Build data models and develop visualisation tools like Tableau.
- Support the organisation’s progression from descriptive to predictive analytics.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.
- Work with data engineers to optimise the data pipeline, leveraging tools like DBT, AWS Redshift, and Fivetran.
- Analyse data distributions and create visualised reports for better decision-making.
- Support machine learning solutions through advanced data systems and algorithms.
The Person
We’re looking for a recent graduate or a final-year student passionate about data analytics and ready to make an impact. You’ll bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Data Science, or equivalent (or current enrolment).
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar scripting languages.
- Familiarity with AWS data ingestion tools and cloud-based technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- An understanding of data visualisation tools like Tableau
- Experience with DBT, Fivetran, and Redshift.
- Knowledge of statistical packages and demand-based algorithms.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
