We are seeking an enthusiastic Head Chef to join our dynamic team and collaborate with key stakeholders to elevate the client floor, enhance the menu, and drive exceptional service, supported by an experienced Key Account Manager and Client.

The position

  • Effectively manage the day to operations of culinary operations ensuring quality, standards are meeting client expectations
  • Menu planning and development
  • Manage food safety plan, adhering to all food safety protocols ensuring a high level of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Acts as a mentor to other chefs and team members
  • Interacts with clients, both internal and external to solicit feedback
  • Focus on local produce, sustainability, and plant forward
  • Demonstrating a positive leadership style building and managing relationships with staff (full time and casual), clients and vendors a like
  • Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking whilst maintaining a minimal amount of waste

The Person

  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience at senior culinary level, demonstrating a passion for food, pride in your work and an enthusiastic approach to service
  • Excellent people skills aimed at providing the highest quality of customer service
  • Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
  • Experience working under pressure in a similar role in a corporate/client workplace
  • Ability to work within a team and autonomously
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage a budget
  • Computer proficient – ability to use IT systems effectively such as ordering and payroll
