Omega are seeking experienced FIFO Security Officers to work remotely at our McArthur River Mine Site Village on a Full time, and ongoing Casual basis on a 14/7 roster with 12 hour rotating AM & PM shifts.

 

The Role

 

You will be responsible for the provision of effective and responsive security services across the village. Due to the nature of the work environment, you will be interacting with Clients, Residents, Visitors, Staff and Contractors on a daily basis. As such, you will be a confident communicator and will be able to respond to queries in a professional manner. 

 

Ability to confidently become part of a team of skilled security professionals. Ensuring site integrity and safety, continuous patrols around the village to promote residential safety, monitor site for safety and security breaches. Performing site lockup and unlock as required by management. Inspection of site for damage, theft and/or vandalism. Compile the daily occurrence/incident log and conduct appropriate handover.

 

The Person

 

Minimum 2 years experience (mandatory)

Security Officers Certificate II Security Operations (minimum)

Current NT Security Officer and Crowd Control Licence

Senior First Aid / CPR Certificate

Manual Drivers License (unencumbered)

Current Police Check and Pre Employment Medical screenings as required

The ideal candidate is comfortable using computers and iPads for daily tasks (mandatory)
