THE POSITION

• Prepare fresh, nutritious meals at the college 
• Contribute to menu ideas using local ingredients
• Monitor stock and minimize wastage
• Adhere to hygiene standards and following proper food handling practices
• Deliver healthy choices and guidance to the future generation
• Ability to work alone and make decisions
• High level of food safety and allergen management & HACCP
• Understanding of budgets and ordering stock 

THE PERSON

• Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
• Current Working with Children Check & National police check
• Experience with cooking in bulk quantities
• Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
• Passionate about healthy and nutritious food
• Availability across the weekend for occasional shifts 
• Self-driven and enthusiastic 
• Ability to work unsupervised 
• Strong communication
