The Position

• Plan, supervise, and monitor the food production and menu-based catering for this premium international airline lounge 
• Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, staff mentoring, training & liaising with the client and other key stakeholders
• Ensure accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls, and maintain a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness 
• Using first class produce, ensure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to a minimum
• Deliver to our client and customers high expectations of a premium experience

The Person

• Minimum certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Solid experience in a hands on Head Chef or similar leadership position
• The ability to lead, mentor and develop teams
• Available to work predominantly Monday to Friday, with occasion weekends required to cover team absence
• Knowledge of Food Safety & HACCP regulations
• Driven leader with a creative flair and a passion for culinary innovation

** Successful candidate will be required to pass an ASIC security clearance as part of the onboarding process
