We are seeking QLD Plumbing Contractors with QBCC to join our Terowie Village team. are looking to train up their next Maintenance Plumber for a Full Time ongoing 7&7 roster, working 84 hours each swing. The Client is Peabody. You will have a B2B Plumbing team member, and a permanent room on site.
$111,384 Gross Per Year + $8,000 Nominee + Allowances + Super
THE POSITION
- Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring continuity of essential Building and Engineering services in a complex environment
- Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems
- Technical manager on the licence under which company plumbers can perform their work
- Provide instruction to other plumbers on compliance requirements
- Conduct plumbing inspections and advise Unit Managers of hazards and non-compliance to standards. As a Nominee, you are responsible to ensure that work is supervised and carried out in a compliant manner
- Additional Allowances available such as On Call Allowance, 3 Hour Min call out at penalty rates when required, Leading Hand Allowance if applicable.
THE PERSON
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- QLD QBCC Plumbing Contractors Licence
- QLD Gasfitting Servicing
- Current Australian Drivers Licence, White Card
- Police Check within 12 months
- Optional: Gas and backflow (preferred)
- Well versed in all maintenance process and workplace health and safety regulations
- Have a Medical within 12 months
- Able to FIFO from Brisbane Airport, or DIDO from nearby, for a permanent ongoing roster
