THE POSITION
- Plan, supervise, and monitor the food production across functions and in house menu-based catering
- Actively maintain a high standard of food safety, allergen awareness, and OHS
- Lead, develop and inspire a small team of culinary talents
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
- Oversee inventory, procurement, cost control and minimize food wastage
- Oversea 3 outlets - residential dining, function and restaurant operation.
- Ability to support front of house and customer engagement when required
THE PERSON
- Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
- An accomplished leader with a stellar culinary track record
- Current Police Check, or ability to obtain
- Experienced with both bulk cooking and functions & events catering
- Experience in leading, mentoring and developing teams
- Solid understanding of allergen management, food safety and infection control
- Short order restaurant cooking experience.
- Ability to work flexible hours to support business demand.
