Team Leader – Infrastructure Services 
 

Lead the infrastructure powering Australia’s largest food and support services company. 
We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on infrastructure leader to guide the delivery, optimisation, and evolution of Compass Group Australia’s technology foundations. You’ll oversee our cloud platforms, on-premise systems, networks, servers, storage, and enterprise collaboration tools—balancing operational stability with innovation. 

The Role 
As Team Leader – Infrastructure Services, you will: 

• Lead a skilled team managing day-to-day infrastructure services, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. 

• Contribute to the development of the infrastructure roadmap, supporting digital transformation and cloud-first adoption. 

• Oversee incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution for infrastructure-related issues. 

• Partner with cybersecurity to ensure compliance, security, and effective disaster recovery. 

• Drive automation and modern workplace initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability. 

• Mentor and develop team members, building capability for hybrid cloud and Infrastructure-as-Code environments. 

• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring performance against SLAs and value for investment. 

• Support enterprise projects by ensuring infrastructure readiness for new systems and initiatives. 

What You’ll Bring 

• 5+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure management, including 2+ years in a leadership or senior technical role. 

• Strong technical expertise across cloud (Azure/AWS), enterprise networks, storage, and server infrastructure. 

• Experience implementing modern infrastructure practices (hybrid cloud, Infrastructure-as-Code, automation). 

• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft Azure Administrator/Architect, Cisco CCNA/CCNP) desirable. 

• Strong stakeholder engagement, problem-solving skills, and commercial acumen.
