- Help bring the Australian Open 2026 to life from the ground up, ideal for those with labouring or logistics experience – forklift licence highly regarded
- From assembling kitchen infrastructure and building temporary restaurants to unloading equipment and configuring retail spaces, you’ll be part of the operational crew that transforms Melbourne Park into a world-class food & beverage destination.
- This role involves installing owned and hired equipment across temporary and permanent structures, moving and placing items as per floorplans, and ensuring all setups are ready for handover to the operating team.
- Join the Levy operations crew at one of the world’s most iconic sporting event - setting up venues, kitchens, and service spaces

The Position:
- Assist in the setup and bump-in of temporary structures, kitchens, back-of-house spaces and dining venues
- Move, load and install everything from commercial kitchen equipment to service counters and furniture
- Receive and distribute deliveries of gear, stock and operational equipment across multiple locations
- Work closely with the logistics and site operations team to ensure everything is where it needs to be
- Operate forklifts and other equipment if licensed and qualified
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised worksite at all times
The Person:
- Have previous experience in site labouring, logistics, or event bump-in/bump-out
- White Card qualified required
- Are physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, lifting and moving heavy items
- Are reliable, hard-working, and thrive in fast-paced environments, following instructions clearly and working both independently and as part of a team
- Have full-time availability (weekdays and some weekend days) from mid November through to post-tournament pack-down in February
- Experienced operator with a valid forklift license and a proven track record in fast-paced environments preferred
- Safety-conscious and knowledgeable about proper equipment handling and event safety protocols.
- Strong communicator, able to coordinate effectively with logistics, event staff, and management.
- Team player with a positive attitude, committed to supporting the smooth execution of the event.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend online Teams Interviews with the Infrastructure Leadership Team throughout August & September.
All Australian Open roles are casual contracts that will commence Monday 6th October unless otherwise communicated. Shifts may be rostered across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays and paid in accordance with the Hospitality Industry Award. All onboarding and training will be provided prior to commencement.
