  • Casual role with full-time hours from October through February at Melbourne & Olympic Parks.
  • Lead the operational readiness and delivery execution of the Central Logistics Hub and Rod Laver Arena during the Australian Open.
  • Oversee a trained and organised stores team, streamline dock operations, and coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders to keep Levy’s logistics running smoothly throughout the tournament.
  • Hands-on leadership role with responsibility across planning, hiring, training, and live-event delivery.

Each year, we proudly partner with Tennis Australia for the iconic Australian Open. As a world-class sporting event, we create unforgettable guest experiences at every touch point of the customer journey – from a-la-carte fine dining and innovative pop-ups to grandstand snacks and everything in between.

We’re seeking a Loading Dock Manager to join the Levy Logistics team. This casual role offers full-time hours from October through February, where you’ll work closely with Levy leadership and external stakeholders to plan and deliver dock operations across Melbourne Park.

The Position

  • Oversee all delivery operations in the Central Logistics Hub and Rod Laver Arena from late December through early February, including early-morning shifts.
  • Shadow existing Stores and Logistics roles to build operational knowledge and learn Compass systems, MDS, and site-specific delivery restrictions ahead of AO.
  • Manage dock flow, space allocation, and loading/unloading procedures to maintain safe and efficient operations.
  • Build a solid AO ready team by driving interviews, onboarding, and training for Team Leaders, forklift operators, and general stores staff.
  • Lead safety and process training to ensure compliance and readiness.
  • Supervise CLH stores staff directly and support the RLA Team Leader to ensure smooth coordination across both delivery zones.
  • Act as key liaison for Levy, M&OP, and Tennis Australia on CLH and RLA logistics.
  • Support live-event deliveries, stock movements, and MDS processing under time-critical conditions.
  • Run stock counts, support bump-out operations, and coordinate return stock processing post-tournament.

The Person

  • Experience in logistics or supply chain operations within events, venues, or high-volume environments.
  • Hands-on background in warehouse or dock operations, including goods receiving.
  • Proven leadership and team supervision skills.
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time management abilities, particularly under pressure.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends across the AO period.

Desirable

  • Forklift licence and sound understanding of warehouse safety practices.
  • Familiarity with supply chain or dock management systems.
  • Experience engaging with third-party suppliers and venue partners.

The Benefits

  • Immediate access to 100+ retail discounts accessible from your mobile.
  • Gain valuable experience leading logistics for one of the world’s largest sporting events.
  • Opportunity for future roles within Levy post-AO.
  • Work alongside a diverse and passionate team delivering excellence on a global stage.

This is a casual contracted role with full-time hours from October 2025 through February 2026, based at Melbourne Park. Flexibility is essential as shifts may include early mornings, late nights, and weekends across the tournament period.
