Due to unprecedented growth in the region, we have a new opportunity for an experienced Safety Advisor to join our remote portfolio in Moranbah/Dysart in Central Queensland. Working with well-regarded clients, the successful candidate will work a 8:6 roster, flying in and out of Brisbane.

The Position

• The continual improvement of our safety management system
• Providing specialist safety advice and support to our operational teams
• Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
• Driving regular and sustainable improvement in our safety performance
• Conducting regular safety interactions
• Ensuring safety compliance and supporting investigations
• Working a 8 day on 6 day off roster - 12 hour days

The Person

• Experience in Safety Advisory positions, having held responsibility for delivering overall HSEQ support.
• Strong and decisive safety leadership skills with ability to engage stakeholders
• Experience in managing multiple stakeholder relationships, effectively bringing people along the site safety journey.
• Highly developed skills in communication, presentations and reporting
• Certificate IV in WH&S
• CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) Training also highly desirable, but not essential
