We are currently seeking a qualified Building Supervisor to join our Delta FM team at QLD Childrens Hospital. 

The Position

  • Responsible for the efficient delivery of building maintenance services, including including management and leadership of in-house technical resources and subcontractors.
  • Develop and manage maintenance plans
  • Conduct comprehensive inspections and produce reports on nominated facilities and equipment on behalf of the Engineering Manager.
  • Scoping and quoting minor works for essential Building and Engineering services
  • Ensure that risk management systems for each maintenance task are developed and comply with all legislative requirements for maintenance activities.
  • Tracking work completion and quality of both internal and external staff.
  • Analysis and improve processes and job flow.
  • Management and co-ordination of maintenance resources and equipment assets within the Hospital Campus.

The Person

  • Trade qualified (QLD) in a technical discipline
  • A solid understanding of Facilities management, carpentry, building and subcontractor management
  • Well versed in all maintenance process and workplace health and safety regulations
  • Building Licence required / Contractor licence nominee appointment
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role 
  • Experienced in QFM operation.
  • Experience leading teams and managing sub contractors
  • Intermediate computer/Microsoft office skills 
  • Background working with computerised maintenance management systems

**In line with the required Legislation, successful candidates must undertake or provide a current Police Check, and evidence of Vaccine Preventable Diseases will be required as part of the standard recruitment and selection process for this position
