People Operations Advisor

Support the people strategy and people operations at this new hospital, through mobilisation to operation.

THE POSITION

  • During mobilisation work closely with the project mobilisation team to support employee transition, recruitment, onboarding and training of employees, and support the setup of people-systems and processes.
  • Work closely with The New Footscray Hospital (NFH) People Operations Business Partner to support the people strategy & operations of Compass at the hospital.
  • Assist employees with HR-related queries.
  • Train, coach and mentor managers, supervisors, and employees.
  • Assist with performance management and investigations as required.
  • Troubleshoot HR related issues.
  • Work with wider recruitment team for site-specific talent attraction strategies.
  • Maintain a pool of casual staff and pipeline of new recruits.
  • Training administration and audit compliance.Complete HR projects as directed.
  • Analyse employee data and develop reports for management.
  • Manage worker’s comp claims with Compass Group Aus. (CGA) WHS team.
  • Utilise and maximise Compass systems, including training managers to use them.
  • Support and contribute to the broader People team as needed.

 

THE PERSON

  • 2-3 years admin experience.
  • HR experience and/or qualification well regarded.
  • Solid stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • A strong communicator, able to interact at different levels across the organisation.
  • Ability to develop simple project plans and deliver against.
  • Embraces, promotes, and adapts well to change.
  • Ability to operate at pace in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Builds strong relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Passion for customer service.
