Having recently been awarded an exciting new project with Anglo American, servicing multiple villages throughout Central QLD, we are currently looking for a Commercial Manager. 

The Position

You will provide commercial support to the Offshore Remote sector of our business, specifically on our Anglo-American Project. This involves end of month and management reporting, contractual compliance & reviews, and financial analysis of portfolios. This is an opportunity to play a key role in consistently delivering and exceeding our client expectations.

• Accurate & timely month end closing processes
• Partnering with key internal stakeholders to enhance financial performance
• Preparation of detailed budgets and forecasts
• Contract Compliance: Preparation of price escalations and contract variations
• Actual versus project performance reviews against contract
• End to end commercial responsibility of the project
• Assisting with bid modelling and projects retention
• Identifying and implementing streamlined processes
• End of month & management reporting including end of month P&L preparation and client invoicing

The Person

• Accounting degree qualified and CA / CPA
• 5+ years previous commercial accounting experience
• A high level of technical and analytical skills
• Ability to problem solve, prioritise and multi-task
• Advanced Microsoft excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to comfortably communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Experience in financial modelling and commercial reviews
