  • 14/7 Roster with Travel from Perth: Enjoy a dynamic work schedule with a generous 14-day rotation, including all flights and drives from Perth covered—so you can focus on the job while we handle the logistics.

ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.

The Position

  • Craft Exquisite Dishes: Showcase your culinary artistry by preparing and creating tantalizing dishes across all sections, while expertly accommodating dietary needs and guest preferences to the highest standards.
  • Create a Pristine Kitchen Environment: Elevate your work experience by maintaining an immaculate and organized kitchen, ensuring adherence to top-tier food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Drive Team Success: Collaborate seamlessly with fellow chefs to ensure flawless kitchen operations and deliver exceptional service, even during the busiest peak hours.
  • Excel in Diverse Culinary Settings: Thrive in various kitchen environments, consistently delivering remarkable and unforgettable culinary experiences no matter where you are.
  • Must be in the process of relocating or have relocated from New Zealand to Western Australia. (Disclaimer: Relocation allowances are not provided)

The Person

  • Must have unrestricted work rights in Australia to fully engage in all job responsibilities.
  • Possess a Certificate V in Commercial Cookery or Australian Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards and advanced culinary techniques to ensure high-quality food preparation.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team, contributing to a harmonious and productive work environment.
  • Complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening, as well as a national police clearance.
  • Be prepared to work on a FIFO/DIDO roster, showing adaptability and resilience in various work environments.
