The Position:

• This  hands-on leadership role requires planning and execution of seasonal menus across fine dining, boardroom catering, and high end function activity
• Creating a positive work culture and mentoring your team to deliver to the highest standard
• Liaising with client and other key stakeholders across the business to understand the scope of work required to achieve our partnership objectives 
• Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, staff mentoring & training 
• Maintaining a high standard of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness, ensuring accurate implementation of allergy awareness controls are in place and comply with OH&S and HACCP guidelines 

The Person:

• Chef's trade qualifications with 5+ years experience at senior culinary level /comparable environment
• Previous experience in a high-end environment:  fine dining, functions, boardroom catering
• A hands-on leader who is keen to develop our future culinary stars
• You are a true foodie who delights in being on the cutting edge of culinary trends, with a passion for ethically and sustainably sourced local ingredients
• Comfortable working under pressure, unsupervised and to tight deadlines
• Thorough knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations, allergen and dietary focused with the ability to design and implement new systems and processes 
• Experience with full P&L Management and Intermediate computer/Microsoft office skills
