The Position:

Are you ready to make an impact in the dynamic world of bid and proposal development? We’re looking for a savvy and detail-oriented Proposal Development Coordinator to join our team based in our Sydney office; supporting key Compass Group Australia sectors as you craft compelling responses that stand out. In this pivotal role, you’ll will report to the Senior Proposal Manager and will also collaborate closely and engage directly with Proposal Managers, Bid Managers, and Business Development Managers on various projects.

Your expertise will be crucial as you manage and enhance proposal responses and presentation decks for small to medium opportunities, while also contributing to larger bids. Plus, you’ll take the lead in developing and maintaining our extensive library of bid and marketing content, ensuring it meets both Compass Group-wide and sector-specific objectives.   • Develop write and coordinate proposal and document responses to produce accurate, timely, high-quality sales and business proposals to support the company's growth and business retention programs
  • Oversee document formatting and manage file administration for proposals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Utilise standard content and design libraries, along with templates, to ensure consistency and quality in proposals
  • Work under tight deadlines; respond quickly and effectively to changing priorities to meet submission timelines
  • Handle document printing, production, and collation for proposal submissions
  • Assist in maintaining currency and accuracy of business segment templates and documentation

The Person:

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or English complemented with Project Management experience
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a tender proposal environment or similar writing and content development role
  • Strong writing and document presentation skills, with the ability to create technical customer-focused and creative content for internal and external stakeholders and audiences
  • Knowledge and experience in the overall Microsoft suite. Adobe Creative Suite /InDesign experience desirable
  • Flexible and 'can do' approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Have a creative eye and an innovative approach to document design and layout
  • Have a flair for the development of creative collateral that will support our business
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, and initiative with a meticulous eye for detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with a proven ability to interact with various stakeholders
  • Strong commitment to upholding and promoting our safety culture
