Groundsperson

Delta Facilities Management offers maintenance, construction, and project management services to a diverse range of clients, including defence organisations, schools, offshore projects and remote resources industries. We currently have a rare vacancy for a Grounds Role at the Burpengary State School. The successful candidate will become an integral member of our operational team, working full time Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5:06 pm, including throughout the school holidays.

The Position

The core objective of the Grounds Role is to contribute to the efficient and effective operation and maintenance of the school facility by providing a high level of cleaning and facilities support in line with our Service Specifications. At the completion of training and induction, the Grounds Role is capable of utilising a range of complex instructions, materials and equipment to deliver a range of cleaning, grounds, utility and school officer duties to facilitate school operations in a clean, safe and aesthetically pleasant condition.

The Person

• Experience in a similar role - working in a Grounds Role/General OR Facilities maintenance type role
• A great work ethic and ability to learn
• Physically fit, fun and able
• Good communication skills with a flexible approach
• Essential: Must be able to obtain a Blue Card
• Hold a Current Drivers Licence
