Delta Facilities Management delivers asset management, maintenance and construction services. Due to unprecedented growth on our QLD Children's Hospital Project in South Brisbane, we are looking for an experienced Handy Person.  

Responsible for performing minor repairs and modifications to the commercial building under direction or independently when appropriate. This role requires a pro-active approach to safety and adherence to our safety culture behaviours.

The Position

• Accurately take measurements.
• Solid understanding of the safe use of hand tools
• Plaster patching and painting
• Minor furniture assembly
• Adjustment of door closers and Replacing Locks
• Other tasks that may be required in assisting tradespersons.
• Cleaning a work area
• Basic technology skills in using a Tablet with appropriate application

The Person

• Exoerience in similar role 
• Flexible approach and attitude, with good communication skills
• Experience using QFM or similar maintenance management system.
• In line with the required legislation, a valid and current National Police check (within 3 months), and other immunisations will be required as part of the standard recruitment and selection process for this position.
