THE POSITION

• Lead a dedicated team in our beautiful café, catering for up to 950 students daily, while bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the kitchen   
• Remain focused, organised, and supportive while cooking in bulk for a large number of people and leading your team through busy service times.
• Upholding the highest standards of food safety, allergen management, and occupational health.
• Overseeing procurement, cost control, inventory, and kitchen operations with a focus on sustainability and minimal waste.
•  Hands-on leadership, mentoring, and team development within a retail setting 

THE PERSON

    •   A polished culinary professional with a strong presence, exceptional communication skills, and a background in a cafe setting
    • Proven leadership experience in a busy kitchen or service environment
    •   A proactive, mature, and composed approach to kitchen leadership
    •   A current Police Check or willingness to obtain one
    •   Commitment to food safety, allergen protocols, and staff development
