THE POSITION  

  • Plan, supervise, and monitor food production for retail catering, functions and events
  • Maintain effective customer and client relationships
  • Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, mentoring & training both FOH and BOH staff
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation
  • Ensure contract compliance is met through an understanding of the scope of work required
  • Actively maintain a high standard of food safety, allergen awareness, and OHS

About You

  • Strong background in executive or managerial chef roles with a Minimum Cert III Commercial Cookery 
  • Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety to a high standard 
  • A high level of commercial acumen & Proficiency in applications of Microsoft 365 
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to lead and mentor teams both back and front of house 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Skilled in fast decision-making and effective problem-solving
