Are you interested in becoming a professional in the mining industry through cleaning?
THE POSITIONS
Mining village cleaning staff are essential to maintaining the health, safety, and comfort of workers living and operating in remote mining camps. These professionals travel to site on a rostered basis often for weeks at a time and are responsible for cleaning and servicing a minimum of 20 accommodation units, communal areas, offices, and amenities.
Their duties include changing linens, disinfecting bathrooms, vacuuming rooms, restocking supplies, and managing laundry services. Working in harsh and isolated environments, FIFO cleaners must adhere to strict hygiene and safety protocols, often collaborating with catering, maintenance, and site management teams to ensure the camp remains clean, functional, and welcoming for all personnel. Their work directly supports the wellbeing and morale of the workforce, making them a vital part of the mining operation.
