THE POSITION

• Morning to lunchtime chef role responsible for breakfast buffet and room service within a well‑established Maroochydore hotel
• Consistent AM roster with early finishes, no late nights or split shifts, steady weekly hours
• A structured and straightforward menu, a supportive kitchen team, strong job security, and the chance to enjoy true work‑life balance while living the Sunshine Coast lifestyle close to beaches and cafés

THE PERSON

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Previous experience working in a hotel, café, or restaurant kitchen, ideally in breakfast service
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced morning service environment
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
• Reliable, punctual, and able to consistently meet early morning start times
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Driven, adaptable, and able to juggle tasks with ease in a fast-paced environment
