The Position

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the school canteen, ensuring efficient workflows and effective staff management
• Coordinate and prepare online orders 
• Manage stock control, inventory monitoring, and ordering
• Operate and oversee Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Engage professionally and positively with students, staff, and parents
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all food service and preparation areas
• Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations and allergen management requirements
• Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills
• Maintain the service and dining areas to consistently high presentation standards

The Person

• Previous experience in a similar role (5 years' experience is desirable)
• A passion for food and delivering exceptional customer service 
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in leading a team
• Strong knowledge of Food safety and allergen management
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Hold a Blue Card, or ability to obtain one
• Previous experience in hospitality supervision
• Strong barista skills and a passion for quality coffee
