FIFO Casual Carpenter

• FIFO Maintenance works from Perth Airport, day shift only
• Work across a variety of Delta FM sites WA wide including Pilbara, Goldfields etc
• PPE, Flights, Chef-made Meals and Resort Style Accommodation Included

We are seeking Trade Qualified Carpenters to join the Delta FM team conducting Maintenance activities at our BHP Olympic Dam site. This position will be working in the Relief Pool as part of the Casual Maintenance Team in the event there is a gap in the roster due to Annual Leave, Sick Leave or vacant positions. Work can be sporadic and is only available when requested by site. FIFO from Adelaide Airport or DIDO available for Roxby Downs locals. Working day shift only, swings are often 14 Days away, with a minimum of 7 days RNR thereafter. Each shift is 11 Hours Paid + 1 Hour Unpaid break. Positions are limited and immediate starts are available.

$47.76 Gross during ordinary hours, up to 55 hours

$60.69 during Overtime

$78.03 there after

154 Hour Swings + 3 Hours paid for Travel on RNR Days

THE POSITION

• Conduct maintenance tasks including inspection, classification, repairs and planned works
• Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, conforming to local building codes
• Reactive maintenance and assisting other trades
• Prioritise and attend to urgent requests
• Ensure all the activities are performed in accordance with moral, ethical, legal standards and maintain best FM practice.
• Report to Delta FM Operational Support

THE PERSON

• Carpentry Trade Certificate III or equivalent
• Full C Class Drivers Licence + White Card
• Police Check (within 12 months)
• Living within SA and able to access Adelaide Airport or DIDO to Roxby Downs
• Well versed in all maintenance process and workplace health and safety regulations
