This role is ideal for a chef with a strong background in high-end catering, premium restaurant dining, or luxury hospitality environments who thrives in a professional, fast-paced, client-facing setting.
 
You will be responsible for leading all food production across the café and boardroom environments, delivering exceptional food quality, presentation, and service standards Monday to Friday, with occasional evening functions and corporate events.

THE POSITION: 

  • Lead and oversee all kitchen operations across the client café and executive boardroom catering
  • Design and execute seasonal café menus and premium hospitality offerings
  • Deliver high-quality plated dining, working lunches, executive meetings, and corporate functions
  • Maintain exceptional presentation, consistency, and food standards across all services
  • Manage food costs, stock control, ordering, and kitchen financial performance
  • Ensure all food safety, allergen, and OH&S compliance standards are maintained
  • Lead, mentor, and develop kitchen team members to create a strong and positive culture
  • Work closely with onsite stakeholders and clients to curate tailored hospitality experiences
  • Drive innovation and continuously elevate the food offering and customer experience

 THE PERSON:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef within premium catering, high-end restaurants, luxury hotels, or corporate hospitality
  • Strong background in fine dining, executive hospitality, and high-volume premium food service
  • Excellent leadership and people management capability
  • Commercially minded with experience managing food costs, labour, and kitchen performance
  • Strong understanding of modern food trends, presentation, and customer expectations
  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills
  • Relevant Commercial Cookery qualifications and Food Safety Supervisor certification
  • Passion for delivering refined, restaurant-quality food within a corporate environment
