ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.
The Position
- Team Leadership and hands on execution of our specialised mine site village cleaning services.
- Delivering consistent operational cleaning performance to ensure we meet our contract obligations
- Driving regular and sustainable improvement in our safety performance across all aspects of the role
- Staff engagement and development, modelling positive working relationships at all levels. Proficient with all Microsoft Office Systems, or possible experience with SAMS and/or Advanced Cleaning.
The Person
- Minimum 2 years experience in cleaning supervisory position(s) is essential.
- Demonstrable cleaning experience in remote environments is desirable.
- Strong and decisive leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams. Ability to be hands on when required.
- Experience in delivering on cleaning project deadlines with competing priorities. Applicant needs to be highly organised.
- Manual drivers’ license is essential, along with a Current First Aid / CPR.
