Head Chef

$35.00 base rate as a permanent part-time employee

The Role

  • Oversee the a la carte dining onsite on part-time basis
  • This is a retirement village not a residential aged care facility. Doncaster, VIC, location.
  • Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, staff mentoring, training
  • Liaise with the client and other key stakeholders
  • Create and maintain nutritional menus with a focus on healthy eating

The Person

  • Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery
  • Previous kitchen management experience in a similar role
  • Experience in HACCP, food safety and infection control
  • Police Check holder or be willing to obtain this check
