THE POSITION

• Deliver quality meal services to residents at Uniting - Thomas Bowden. 
• Support a busy, fast-paced kitchen team.
• Manage stock rotation and stock control.
• Follow food safety and workplace health procedures.
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Assist with daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace.

THE PERSON

• Sound experience in catering, food service, hospitality, or a similar environment.
• Confident working both autonomously and as part of a close-knit team.
• Basic food preparation skills and an understanding of food allergens.
• A positive, can-do attitude with a genuine passion for customer service.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents and colleagues.
• Hold a National Police Check (NPC) or be willing to obtain one.
• Hold a Working With Children Check (WWCC) or be willing to obtain one.
