Patrol/Security Officer

$36/hour + Penalty Rates

THE POSITION

• Monitor hospital premises to ensure the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols across hospital grounds, including parking areas and entrances.
• Report any suspicious activity, breaches, or safety hazards to the appropriate authorities.
• Maintain detailed records of incidents, patrols, and safety reports.

THE PERSON

• Experience in environments with strict safety regulations and the ability to follow and enforce these protocols.
• Certificate II or above Security Operations (CPP20218).
• Experience in a healthcare environment desirable. 
• Must have or is able to obtain a National Police Clearance & Working with Children Check.
• Mandatory vaccinations and serology required.
