Bid Team Manager - Lead a High-Performing Proposals Team

Lead a high-performing team and help shape the future growth of Compass Group Australia.

Reporting to the National Bid Manager, you'll lead a team of Proposal Managers and Coordinators while driving major tender opportunities across our Urban sectors. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll develop winning strategies, deliver high-quality submissions, and build a culture of excellence within the team. This role includes leadership responsibility for a team of four and involvement in strategic bid development.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach and develop a team of bid professionals
• Manage multiple tenders and proposals from planning to submission
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape winning strategies
• Allocate resources and manage team workloads
• Drive continuous improvement across bid processes and outcomes
• Deliver compelling, client-focused submissions that stand out in competitive markets

About You

• Experience leading or mentoring a team
• Background in bids, proposals, tenders or project delivery
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Excellent written communication and commercial acumen
• Organised, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and solution development
