Join our team in Port Macquarie and play a key role in delivering high-quality dining experiences for over 300 aged care residents. Working alongside the Head Chef, you'll help lead a large catering operation while maintaining exceptional food quality, safety and service standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinate large-scale meal preparation across multiple dining areas
• Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
• Lead, coach and mentor kitchen team members
• Ensure HACCP, allergen management and food safety compliance
• Monitor stock levels and minimise food wastage
• Contribute menu ideas and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage kitchen operations in the Head Chef's absence

What You'll Bring

• Cert III in Commercial Cookery (minimum)
• Previous experience in a Sous Chef, Senior Cook or leadership role
• Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety and allergen management
• Experience preparing nutritious meals in bulk quantities
• Knowledge of IDDSI and texture-modified diets
• Food Safety Supervisor certification
• Australian working rights
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
