The Position

• Support daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, stock rotation, and cleaning duties.
• Monitor stock levels, minimise wastage, and assist with inventory control to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
• Work collaboratively with the wider lounge team to deliver a premium experience for travellers.
• Ensure all food is prepared and served in accordance with food safety, HACCP, and company standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment at all times.
• Adapt to changing passenger volumes and operational demands in a fast-paced airport setting.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, storing stock correctly, and maintaining accurate product rotation.
• Contribute ideas to improve menu offerings, efficiency, and overall guest satisfaction.

The Person

• Passionate about preparing fresh, high-quality meals and maintaining excellent presentation standards.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, allergen management, and safe food handling practices.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
• Reliable, organised, and able to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
• Flexible availability across a rotating roster, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to contribute to a fast-paced airport operation.
• Relevant hospitality qualifications or food safety certifications will be highly regarded.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) if required.
