Join Tabcorp as a Senior Manager – Privacy & Compliance where you’ll lead the uplift of privacy and compliance at Tabcorp from the ground up. This is a critical, newly created role where you’ll work across the business to embed strong privacy processes and build a fit-for-purpose compliance framework from scratch. Reporting directly into the Head of Risk and Compliance and partnering closely with Legal, this is an opportunity to own and operationalise key frameworks in a highly regulated and evolving industry.

What you’ll do
Make compliance simple and privacy practical across Tabcorp. You will:
- Design and implement an enterprise-wide Compliance Management Framework including privacy that is fit-for-purpose and built for continuous improvement
- Partner with the Privacy Officer and legal/regulatory teams to identify privacy and compliance obligations and guide implementation of effective, risk-based controls
- Operationalise privacy compliance by embedding robust processes and controls across all business units
- Implement a compliance monitoring program including attestations and reporting
- Build and deliver training and awareness programs that uplift Tabcorp’s privacy and compliance culture
What you’ll bring
You’re commercially minded with deep privacy expertise and a pragmatic approach to compliance. Ideally you will have:
- Very strong experience in privacy and compliance within a regulated industry
- In-depth understanding of Australian privacy law, GDPR, and risk-based compliance frameworks
- A proactive, autonomous style with a demonstrated ability to build frameworks and processes from scratch, especially across complex regulatory landscapes
- Strong commercial mindset and the ability to navigate grey areas while maintaining compliance integrity
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to drive engagement and clarity across all levels
- A degree in Law, Risk, Business or similar (legal qualifications highly regarded)
