About the Role

We’re offering an opportunity for someone ready to apply their strong risk, compliance, or audit expertise in a more specialised Financial Crime Strategy & Compliance (FCR) role.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Crime Strategy & Compliance, you’ll strengthen Tabcorp’s frameworks and policies that protect the business from AML/CTF risks. You’ll bring a strong understanding of our key business risks, proven experience influencing senior leaders, and the capability to drive positive outcomes in risk and compliance. This role is about applying the right attributes and skills you already have — while deepening your experience into the FCR specialisation.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive the enhancement of Tabcorp’s AML/CTF Program, policy framework, and related documentation.
  • Deliver risk assessments, based on Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing typologies and methodology development across the FCR portfolio.
  • Lead governance and reporting activities, including preparing materials for committees and tracking actions.
  • Deliver enterprise and supplementary risk assessments, ensuring insights translate into practical actions.
  • Use our risk management systems to monitor controls and incidents.
  • Support regulatory engagement and internal/external reviews of financial crime frameworks.

About You

You’re currently in a risk, compliance, or audit role and ready to take the next step into a specialist compliance area. You can quickly get to grips with regulatory requirements, and you know how to work with senior stakeholders to influence decisions and outcomes.

You bring:

  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and a pragmatic approach to risk and compliance.
  • Knowledge of Tabcorp’s product suite and service channels.
  • Strong understanding of the business’s key risks and governance requirements.
  • Proven experience engaging with and influencing senior leaders.
  • A successful track record in driving risk and compliance outcomes in a complex environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of colleagues and stakeholders.
