What you’ll do
As Presentation Coordinator (Casual) you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining all live transmission requirements and inserting scheduled breaks for Live Racing and General Programming across multiple channels.
You will perform all the operational, technical, and functional requirements to ensure the quality of our live broadcast reaches our customers without fault and in top quality.
- Monitoring and maintaining all live transmission requirements
- Inserting and playing scheduled breaks for Live Racing
- Liaising with Content Programmers, Traffic, Master Control, Producers and Studio.
- Previewing and quality checking recorded content.
- Preparation of play lists and airing all paid and promotional content including TVC’s and secondary events.
What you’ll bring
- Strong technical/operational competencies, professional knowledge and understanding of modern television broadcast, playout automation systems and workflows.
- In-depth knowledge of the operating principles of a television station
- Experienced in applying a logical, analytical, and detailed approach to problem solving in pressured situations
- Calm under pressure in a deadline driven environment and show leadership/guidance in technical system failures.
- You have experience in Presentation or have studied TV Production
- Knowledge of modern, digital based, Television production/broadcast/operations systems and environments.
*Please note this role is a rotating roster on a 24/7 shift pattern, including weekends and overnights*
