Joining MAX, part of Tabcorp, you’ll work with a tight-knit, experienced team managing top-tier executive clients across Brisbane and South East Queensland. This is key account management at its most dynamic; fast-paced, complex, and deeply rewarding.
Reporting to the State Manager for Queensland, you will take ownership of a portfolio of top clients. These are large, high-profile venues with long-term contracts and a long list of priorities; requiring a proactive, highly organised, and commercially sharp approach. You’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening partnerships, driving performance, and influencing outcomes across multiple stakeholders.
- Lead strategic relationships with major gaming and hospitality key accounts across Queensland
- Manage complex customer needs, handling extensive weekly and monthly agenda items
- Build trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders including executives and venue leaders
- Drive commercial performance, contract renewals, and long-term account growth strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams and manufacturers to deliver tailored client solutions
- Track account performance, market trends, and stakeholder priorities to influence outcomes
You’re a confident, relationship-driven professional who thrives in complex environments where no two days are the same. You bring a strong commercial mindset, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to influence at all levels — from venue managers to executives. You’re comfortable juggling multiple priorities while staying focused on delivering outstanding results.
- Proven capability in key account management within gaming, hospitality, or related sectors
- Strong understanding of pub, club, or gaming environments and how they operate
- Experience managing complex stakeholder groups with competing priorities and expectations
- Commercially savvy with strong negotiation and contract management capability
- Confident communicator with ability to influence senior decision-makers
- Strong organisational skills with ability to manage high-volume demands and priorities
