Your role, your impact

As a Trader, you will report to the Trading Manager and work collaboratively with the broader leadership team to execute data-driven pricing strategies that maximize profitability. Operating at the intersection of sports, data, and technology, you will champion operational excellence and compliance while directly shaping a best-in-class product experience for our customers.

• Market Delivery: Own the end-to-end mapping, linking, and seamless delivery of both automated and manual Fixed Odds markets in real-time.

• Risk Mitigation: Precision-manage customer exposure via real-time bet intercept processing, staying fully aligned with predefined customer profiles and delegation frameworks.

• Proactive Oversight: Keep a finger on the pulse of retail and digital channels—identifying outliers, analyzing patterns, and seamlessly escalating shifts to key stakeholders.

• Liability Management: Drive active liability management, confidently communicating exposure and escalating risks before they impact the bottom line.

• Operational Execution: Manage day-to-day trading mechanics with accuracy, from real-time model manipulation and pricing adjustments to swift market settlement.

• Industry Foundations: Proven background in a fast-paced trading floor environment or a highly operational, data-led role.

• Platform Expertise: Hands-on proficiency with modern trading infrastructure and pricing models, specifically the OpenBet Trading platform.

• Analytical Problem-Solving: A natural ability to evaluate risk on the fly, unpack complex data feeds, and troubleshoot issues with a solution-focused mindset.

• Composure Under Pressure: The stamina to manage competing priorities and make high-stakes, split-second decisions without sacrificing accuracy.

• Collaborative Communicator: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively share insights, align with management, and cross-functionally support internal teams.
