EOI for VARA E190-E2 Initial Training Program

We are excited to announce that crew members will be able to participate in the initial training and operational launch of our brand-new E2-190 Jet.

Our E2 training pipeline will be conducted in several phases, and before we issue an expression of interest to all crew to be trained on the E2, we are initially seeking a small number of crew to be trained and provided the opportunity to participate in the initial E2 certification process. 

We’re inviting enthusiastic and driven crew to step forward and express interest in this wonderful and unique opportunity.

Crew who are successful in this phase may be required to participate in assessments as part of our AOC approval. A range of crew with varying experience levels will be required for this phase.

We want to hear from crew who:

  • Are excited about the E2 entry into service program
  • Embrace change and see the value in always striving to be better
  • Are passionate about safety, attention to detail and excellent work ethic 
  • Enjoy supporting their peers and leading by example

To apply for thisopportunity,you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Be an operational Virgin Australia Regional team member for a minimum of 12 months
  • Have a proven track record of reliability and meeting rostering expectations
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Have a sound understanding of SOPs, EPs, and Virgin Australia service standards
  • Be 100% compliant in all current role requirements (including V-Learn, CCONS, safety and fatigue reporting)
  • Be meeting performance expectations (any unsatisfactory performance would have been documented and shared)
  • Be a role model who champions our values, demonstrates a commitment to your role, and supports a positive team culture

Part-time applications are welcome but set days cannot be accommodated and crew selected in this phase will be required to go full-time for the duration of the training (exact time frames to be confirmed).
