The Analytics Centre of Excellence drives business growth and competitive advantage through rich customer data, creating measurable value for our members, partners and team. As the Manager, Partner Advanced Analytics, you will lead the advanced analytics capability embedded within Velocity’s Partner Value Stream while reporting to the Head of Customer Analytics. Leading a high-performing team of three, you'll leverage centralised engineering and data science resources alongside the Databricks platform to unlock data-driven value for Velocity's partners through scalable data products, strategic reviews and commercial analytics that drive partner success.

You will:

  • Act as the senior analytics leader within the Partner Value Stream, aligning analytics strategy with key business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to external partners, co-developing analytics and data strategies that drive mutual value and strengthen commercial relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify partner opportunities, scope commercial engagements and deliver insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop templated frameworks and best practices for data sharing with external partners, ensuring commercial value and scalability.
  • Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations that unlock value for partners, members and the business.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable data products and consistent analytics practices across the organisation.
  • Build, coach and lead a high performing analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence and continuous learning.

You’ll be great in this role if you:

  • Have 8–10 years’ experience in analytics, consulting or a similar data-driven environment, ideally with exposure to partner or agency-side delivery.
  • Have 2+ years leading analytics or data product teams.
  • Have proven ability to build and manage relationships with external stakeholders, including presenting insights, and influencing partner strategies.
  • Have experience in negotiating data-sharing arrangements or in media analytics (desirable).
  • Can translate complex data and analytics concepts into clear, compelling insights for non-technical and commercial audiences.
  • Have working knowledge of partner data ecosystems, data-sharing approaches and scalable platform enablement.
  • Have experience developing data products — from identifying customer needs through to shaping requirements and delivering insight-led value.
  • Bring strong commercial acumen, including experience in business development, RFP or pitch responses, financial modelling, and the commercialisation of data assets.
  • Possess strong technical competency in SQL and Python, with the ability to lead by example in cutting code alongside your team in a cloud analytics platform (Databricks, GCP, Snowflake).
  • Are a self-starter with strong delivery focus and the ability to engage effectively with external partners while maintaining hands-on technical capability.
